In-line and automated SpecMetrix® coating quality cells:
In-line and automated SpecMetrix® measurement systems, powered by proprietary software controls, can deliver continous real-time thickness measurement data that supports existing quality measurement and SPC tools. This data can assist management in deciding whether questionable runs should be removed or altered, or to halt the production process in order to avoid scrap or subsequent rework costs. The non-contact measurement capabilities of the SpecMetrix® systems also preclude the need for test samples or time consuming destructive testing methods.
